Characteristics

• The powder is made from amber from the Baltic Sea.
• Amber is a light and brittle substance, a special form of carbonaceous mineral, sometimes classified as a mineral. Sometimes it is classified as an organogenic sedimentary rock, because it is the fossilized resin of some trees, the mineralized resin of Tertiary conifers, most often around 50 million years old (however, there is known amber up to 320 million years old, i.e. originating from the Early Carboniferous).
