Characteristics

• Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is derived from a naturally occurring fatty acid and amino acid, gently cleanses without removing the natural lipid film.
• It is obtained from natural fatty acids (derived from coconut oil) and a synthetic amino acid (Sarkosine).
• Soluble in water, insoluble in oil, easily biodegradable

Use

• Shower gels, bubble baths, shampoos, "2 in 1" shampoos, "cream" shampoos, hand cleansing gels, facial cleansing gel, intimate cleansing gels, toothpastes, shaving foams, styling foams, lotions, cleansing creams (good fat tolerance)
• Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate improves foam stability and provides a creamy finish.
• Thickening effect in an acidic environment (pH about 5). It is also suitable for the preparation of toothpastes.
• Good foamability, facilitates and improves foam stability even in hard water and even in the presence of fats.
• It creates a soft and creamy foam and preserves the natural protective layer of the skin and hair. Derived from an amino acid, it has a significant effect on hair conditioning.
• It helps prevent tooth decay by inhibiting hexokinase, an enzyme involved in glycolysis, which is involved in the formation of cavities (the conversion of glucose into lactic acid).
• Mild surfactant, very well tolerated by the skin.
• Mild anionic surfactants are consistent with most cationic compounds.
• Anti-corrosion effect, interesting in shaving creams (prevents razor blade corrosion).

• 3-15% in shampoos
• 5 to 30% in shower products and body and hand products
• 10 to 50% in bath foams
• 5 to 20% in facial cleansers and makeup removers
• 1-2% for creams and makeup removers
• 1 to 5% in toothpastes
• 1-7% shaving foam
