Rosemary extract is rich in phenolic diterpenes, including carnosolic acid, which is a powerful antioxidant that slows lipid oxidation.
Antimicrobial activity was tested on rosemary extract - 28 germs were used (staphylococci, streptococci, Corynebacterium, Pseudomonas, ...), as well as Bacillus subtilis, Micrococcus luteus, Propionibacterium acnes and Candida.
The highest efficiency was observed for the germs of staphylococcus, streptococcus, micrococcus and bacillus.
Raw material for the production of cosmetics.
