- Olivem 300 is a non-ionic co-emulsifier primarily derived from olive oil, supplied in a liquid form that is almost white to yellow in color.
- Olivem 300 is an ester with strong emollient and lubricating properties that offers significant skin smoothness and long-term moisturizing effects.
- Olivem 300, as the name suggests, is a natural vegetable coemulsifier, emollient, lubricant, moisturizing and solubilizing ingredient derived from olives.
Use
- It is ideal for gentle creams especially for delicate skin or for baby/baby care products.
- It also serves as an auxiliary solubilizer for essential oils and perfumes. It can also be used as a co-emulsifier for o/v systems.
Suggested usage levels for Olivem® 300 are as follows
- Toiletries, 0.5 - 2% as degreaser, 1 - 10% as fragrance solubilizer and 2 - 5% as humectant
- Skin care, 2 - 5% as an emollient
- Decorative cosmetics, 3 - 5% as a nourishing and adhesive aid
- Soaps, 1 - 2% to protect the hydrolipidic barrier and reduce water absorption
- Transparent gels: 0.5 - 1% as a moisturizing agent
