Characteristics

• It is hydrated potassium silica with a similar mineral composition and structure to kaolin.
• Mica Sericite has a very small particle size and this makes it silky smooth, with a very smooth matte texture.
• It does not clog pores and reflects sunlight, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Use

• It is mainly used as a base powder for mixing eye shadows.
• When used in powders, it adds a subtle glow and gives the skin that "dewy" look. It gives the skin a youthful appearance.
• In cosmetics, mica is used in a variety of applications and is one of the ingredients that can be used in larger proportions in mineral makeup formulations.
• Used in foundations, powders and finishing powders, it creates exceptionally smooth silky products with a perfect matte finish.
