Characteristics

• Mint Eucalyptus is a tree about thirty meters tall, its bark is fibrous, gray or brown-gray, forming long ribbons. Young branches are green. The leaves are green, narrow and lanceolate. The flowers are grouped by 11-20 and are creamy yellow in color. It grows rapidly and reaches considerable dimensions.
• Many species of the genus Eucalyptus are native to Australia, but are now grown worldwide in subtropical regions, especially in swampy areas. They have also acclimatized in the Mediterranean region. 10 ml of essential oil is obtained from 1 - 1.3 kg of leaves.
