Characteristics

• 100% natural essential oil, steam distilled
• 100% natural essential oil from the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora). Essential oil oxidizes in the air and turns into raw camphor (white waxy crystals in its pure state). This is a natural source of camphor, not pure camphor.
• Camphor essential oil contains: Camphor, alpha and beta-pinene, camphene, safrole, fenchene, phelandrene, borneol, 1,8-cineole, eugenol.
• Solubility: in fats and in alcohol
• Flash point: 46 °C

Use

Camphor, long known for its stimulating effects, is a tonic for the whole body. Energizing, gives strength and vitality. Together with cajeput and mint, they form the strong menthol scent known from tiger ointments. Excellent for colds and respiratory diseases.

Use in aromatherapy: It has antibacterial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, diuretic effects and reduces pain. It stimulates digestion, acts against flatulence and corrects bowel movements. It affects blood circulation, pressure and stimulates heart activity. Suitable for respiratory problems - bronchitis, colds and pneumonia. Reduces fever, promotes sweating. Helps the absorption of bruises, suitable for the treatment of frostbite. It works on gout, rheumatism and inflammatory processes. It affects insomnia, heals ulcers, generally stimulates, harmonizes and strengthens fatigue.

Use in cosmetics: For oily and problematic skin (acne). It perfuses the skin, deodorant. It is added to massage oils to relax stiff muscles and painful joints in rheumatism and after exertion.
