- Alpha Terpineol (Lindenol)
- Aroma: Lilac flowers, fresh, sweet, piney
- Alpha Terpineol complements its typical floral notes with a nice citrus profile and lemon and lime nuances. It is excellent for citrus, tropical fruits, apple, tomato and coffee.
Use
- A naturally occurring monoterpene alcohol. Alpha-terpineol is used as an antioxidant, antiseptic, antihypernociception and anti-inflammatory.
- It is also used as a solvent. It is an important component of pine oil disinfectants.
- It is also used as a fragrance in perfumes, denatured fat for soap production and synthetic aromatics. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
