Use

• Melt at approx. 56°C (melting point) before use.
• For external use only.
• It acts as a co-emulsifier, conditioner and superfatting agent.
• It has good thickening and stabilizing properties for all types of emulsions.
• It forms oil-in-water emulsions, but only to a limited extent. It is not soluble in water.
• Extends the shelf life of cosmetic products.
• In shampoos, it is used for the foaming effect.
• It also acts as an emulsifier – a substance that allows multiple liquids (such as water and oil) to mix.
• Applications: Serums, lotions, creams, deodorants and other personal hygiene products.

Dosage

• Usual dosage 1 - 3%
• Higher dosages may cause soaping
