Lots of benefits

This fragrant clay stick has a lot of benefits. To clean the skin, we usually need some cosmetic product packaged in plastic, whether it is a gel or a micellar. And to make matters worse, cotton swabs are also a must. But you won't need any of that with a clay stick. It is enough to soak it a little in water, rub it on the face and décolleté, let it dry and wash it again with plain water. Therefore, no material waste is created when using it - it is super-ecological, but also extremely practical, for example, when traveling. And what's more, you don't have to worry about the lotion spilling in your briefcase and wreaking havoc on your clothes. You just wrap the clay stick and let it dry after use.

Another advantage is, of course, the nutritional content of the clay bar itself. These are the most amazing natural ingredients, in short and well, no chemicals! And the skin will love it!

So while we're talking about those great ingredients, let's take a closer look at them so you know what they're all about.

Pink clay

Pink clay forms one of the foundations of the clay bar and is absolutely perfect for a cleansing bar. It has regenerating, but at the same time cleansing effects, it is suitable for all skin types, even for very sensitive skin prone to redness. It is gentle, rich in trace elements, beneficial for our skin, and silicon dioxide and iron.

White Clay (Kaolin)

White clay is another basic ingredient of the cleansing stick and is also very gentle and soothing to our skin. It has a high silicon content, which is why it is also great for sensitive and irritated skin. It is also great as a hair mask, when it soothes our scalp beautifully.

Damask rose powder

It is an Ayurvedic powder that helps relax the body and senses. Damask rose powder is mainly used in cosmetics for skin regeneration, but also for its toning properties. It takes excellent care of irritated and sensitive skin, but it is also used in the fight against aging. It is excellent for a face mask, but also for the body and hair.

Oatmeal powder

Oat powder is a naturally occurring organic powder that contains a variety of active ingredients, including beta-glucans, which are responsible for the function of water retention, phenols, starch, savanaxins, saponins, flavonoids and also vitamin E. This super nutritious bunch is ideal for production of cosmetics, it is perfectly suited for irritated skin or skin prone to drying - it can soothe it beautifully.

Rosewater

Rose water is simply an old well-known classic in skin care. It is created as a by-product in the extraction of oil from roses and is suitable for all skin types. It helps to clean the skin and remove impurities and is very nutritious. It supports the healing and overall regeneration of our skin, and if we put it alone in a sprayer, we can also use it as a great make-up fixative.

Aloe vera gel

Aloe vera gel is also an absolutely elementary product in skin care. Aloe vera has been used in the cosmetic industry since ancient times, aloe has very beneficial effects on the skin. It regenerates tissues, heals scars, acts against free radicals and against the signs of aging and stretch marks, and to top it all off, it also deeply hydrates our skin.

It has soothing effects on burns, insect bites, abrasions and especially acne, which is what we appreciate the most in our clay stick.

Rose flower wax

Another fragrant component of our stick is rose flower wax. It is rich in fatty acids, but above all, it smells really amazing. That is why it is an ideal ingredient for cosmetics, perfumes, but also natural candles, for example.

Virgin coconut oil

When it comes to skin care, "coconut" , as we call it familiarly, is also a miracle, so of course it cannot be missing from our skin care bar! It smells pleasant, penetrates much deeper into the skin than other preparations, and therefore our skin can draw its excellent effects by one hundred and six. Thanks to it, our skin will be smooth, soft and fragrant, and at the same time it is also a wonderful means to support the healing of stretch marks. Finally, we must not forget to add that it will also be happy to help you in the kitchen - we can add it to some dishes or even fry something on it.

So, now that we know a little about the ingredients, let's get started!

What does it take?

- 1/4 cup of pink clay

- 1/4 cup of white clay (kaolin)

- 1 tablespoon of damask rose powder

- 2 tablespoons of oat powder

- 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel

- 2 tablespoons of rose water

- 7 g virgin coconut oil

- 1 g of rose flower wax

How to do it?

Mix well the kaolin and pink clay with Damask rose powder and oat powder . Heat virgin coconut oil with rose flower wax and mix this liquid mixture with the loose powder. Finally, add rose water and aloe vera gel and mix everything well. (If the mixture is too dry and does not form a mushy mass, add rose water a little at a time.) You could say that we are done, but we have a little tip for connoisseurs...

That's the smell!

The clay bar will still smell, by itself, beautifully natural, like roses... However, if you want a really extra-scented bar, add a few drops of essential oil to the mixture at the end. This pink one will definitely work great, or also rose and neroli, but if you have any other favorite oil, drop it there. You can also choose from a lot of aromatic oils.

Nice molds!

And of course, the final step is to dose our mixture onto the cleaning stick. You can either stuff it into this minimalist square silicone mold, or choose one of these simpler molds on the plate with 12 different shapes. It comes out of the silicone molds nicely, but most importantly you can use them for a lot of other productions as well!

However you dose where you want, press the mixture properly and let it sit and dry for a few days. As it dries, the volume of the clay stick should decrease a little, and it will be easier to tap out of the mold.

So how to use it?

Simply! Wet, rub face and décolleté, let dry, wash off... but most importantly, don't forget to NOURISH, GREASES OR HYDRATE! We really only use the stick once a day, so as not to dry out and overload our skin unnecessarily. And after application, lubricate the skin properly, either with a favorite cream or some nourishing oil. We will definitely put our hand in the fire for argan or almond oil! Then leave the stick out in the air, ideally near a heater or a window, to dry again. This is important, because then bacteria will not form in the stick and it will significantly extend its shelf life (which is then almost forever). :)
