Description

The popularity and all the fabulous abilities of the Magic Dust of luxurious powders led to the desire to make something similar for the pleasure of the skin of the whole body. Here is the result!

Dry soap powder works great with a loofah or kneaded between wet palms, and the great thing about it is the number of possible adjustments and changes when mixing it. With the addition of exfoliating walnut powder, the foaming powder has become a very pleasant peeling that visibly rejuvenates, refreshes and brightens the skin.

The basis of the powder is white kaolin, i.e. fine clay, which rids the skin of impurities and at the same time supplies it with minerals. White clay is also well represented by zeolite. Other clays, such as Moroccan clay or bentonite, would be better avoided here, as they are much coarser and rougher.

But the greatest pleasure for all the senses and the skin is conjured by a carefully selected combination of finely ground plants - brightening rosehip rich in vitamin C and healing soothing lavender. They go together beautifully, mix wonderfully and add a soft, unobtrusive scent. For a deep cleansing and peeling effect, we added crushed walnut shells to the perfectly ground powders, which are just coarse enough - they gently "scratch", yet do not irritate the skin and certainly do not injure it.

Miraculously, the dust turns into a soft foam with the help of SLSa, a mild surfactant that is very well tolerated by even the most delicate skin, from which it gently removes oil and impurities without irritating it. SLSa will also help wash the product off the skin and ensure that clay or ground plants do not unsightly settle on the walls of the tub.

We will add healing power and balance all cleaning abilities with milky oat silk, which will soothe any irritation and caress dry or cracked skin. A drop of sunflower oil will keep the powders from swirling around the bathroom when the can is opened, while adding richness and nourishment.

We complement everything with the floral-fruity scent of freesia and pear, which is so beautiful that we have run out of words. Seriously, you have to smell it! The scent is intense, yet unobtrusive, and long-lasting – you will smell it not only when bathing in the bath, but also after gently wiping your clean skin with a towel.

What does it take?

- 20 grams of white clay (kaolin)

- 8 grams of SLSa

- 4 grams of oat silk

- 3 grams of walnut powder exfoliant

- 1.45 grams of rose hip powder

- 1.45 grams of lavender powder

- 2 grams of sunflower oil

- 0.1 gram of cosmetic fragrance Freesia and pear

How to do it?

Grab one of your masks and put it over your face to protect your airways from possible inhalation of the swirled powders - we don't want that.

Reach for a mortar, a grinder or a mixing bowl, and weigh all the loose ingredients into a container. Knead and mix everything patiently and well. In another bowl, mix the sunflower oil and fragrance, then add to the dry mixture in the mortar. Make sure that the scented oil, which may have created a stick at first, "unsticks" and gets into every part of the mixture.

When the mixture is beautifully uniform, transfer it to the chosen jars. He likes it very much in paper packaging. For 40 grams of created powder, you will need about a 60 ml can, and this great paper strainer will work best. If, for example, you want to dispense the powder in smaller quantities, you can also reach for the elegant black taller containers, which will need three.

How to use it?

Sprinkle about a teaspoon (or spoon :)) of the powder on a moistened loofah, washcloth, sponge or your palm (take care that water and moisture do not get into the powder in the jar) and create a soft creamy foam, massage the foam into the skin of the whole body in circular motions.

Despite its exfoliating effect, the powder is very gentle on the skin, you can use it every day or every other day with peace of mind. But always listen to your skin, especially if it is sensitive, and adjust the frequency of use.

I want to make this but I don't have all the ingredients!

As always, keep in mind that any change will also change the result, and the product may look and perform differently than ours.

The amount of the mentioned recipe is based on 40 grams of dust. You simply reduce or multiply the quantity to make as many miracles as you need.

Zeolite can be used instead of white clay. However, we do not recommend other clays here.

If you don't have lavender powder, try to grind your own perfectly from dried lavender.

Try other dried ground herbs and their powders. You get different colors, abilities and roughness.

You can replace crushed hazelnut shells with another natural exfoliant.

SCI can be used instead of SLS, but it is in the form of small noodles. So it will need to be ground first.

If you don't have sunflower oil, reach for another oil that you like. But choose those that are not prone to rancidity.

If you want the dust more fragrant, you can add your favorite essential oil. Dose up to 0.5% of the total weight of the final product and first disperse it in oil before adding to the powders.
