Angel soap - making decorated gift soap for beginners

The Advent season is approaching... and with it creating, relaxing, enjoying time together with the family and coming up with meaningful gifts that will delight our loved ones under the tree. This beautiful angelic soap is very suitable for the magical season of Christmas. So enjoy their pleasant to meditative production, fragrant and soft use, and kind and loving gifting.

The production process is uncomplicated, but very fun and creative. The finished soaps are really beautiful and will surely enchant anyone who rests them in the palm of their hand. The white mass smells woody to musky and you will find notes of bergamot, cypress and heather in it. Gold decoration gives the soaps a festive look and elegance, and the angelic pattern gives softness.

The base material is SLS-free soap material, used to make the soaps gentle not only on the eyes, but also on the skin. In addition, this soap foams richly, leaves the skin silky and is very easy to work with, as it dissolves well both in a water bath and in the microwave.

We left the material angelic white because it suited our theme, but if you would like it colored, simply add mica powders, biolglitters, colored oxides, clay or perhaps herbs to the material. In the same way, the gold decoration can be of different colors, just buy several mica powders, choose yourself and win.

What does it take?

For 4 soaps in angel form

- About 280 grams of SLS free soap mass

- About 30 drops of Heather essential oil

- Angel silicone mold

- Base for making perfume

- Spray bottle

- Mica powder in a golden shade

How to do it?

Cut the soap mass into cubes and place in a heat-resistant container in a water bath. Allow to dissolve slowly, stirring occasionally. The substance can also be dissolved quickly in a microwave oven - slide the chopped soap into a suitable container, cover with a lid, and heat the substance at lower power and after shorter intervals of no more than thirty seconds. After each heating interval, stir the mass so that everything dissolves evenly.

Lightly spray the molds with high-percentage alcohol (if you have enough of it), pour the dissolved soap mass into them and spray the cast soap with alcohol immediately afterwards. Alcohol is not necessary, but it will ensure that there are no bubbles on the soap and the surface of the soaps will be beautifully shiny and smooth.

And it is done!

Now all you have to do is let the soaps harden, which will take about 20 minutes in the cold, an hour in the warmer months.

When the soaps are solid, take them out of the molds and if you want to decorate them, prepare a small bowl in which you mix about a teaspoon of mica powder with a drop of alcohol. Dip the brush in the paint and paint the soap as desired. The paint is dry in seconds.

When the soaps are hard, peel them from the mold and put them in airtight containers. It is ideal to wrap each soap in cling film so that air and moisture cannot reach it. And it is done!
