Characteristics

• Raw material for cosmetic production.
• The term zeolite was originally coined in the 18th century by the Swedish mineralogist Axel Fredrik Cronstedt, who observed that when natural minerals are heated rapidly, stones begin to dance.
• Using Greek words that mean "stones that boil", he named this material zeolite.
• The stones "boil" because the water contained in the pores of the zeolite escapes when heated.
• Zeolites are crystalline hydrated aluminosilicates of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals.
• The uniqueness lies in the fact that the spatial arrangement of atoms creates channels and cavities of constant dimensions. Solid, liquid and gaseous substances can be trapped in these channels. So it can beautifully bind pollutants, heavy metals and toxins.
• It is a natural volcanic material in which we can find up to 50 types of mineral substances.
