Characteristics

• Xanthan gum is a fine powder obtained by fermenting sugar.
• Xanthan gum is soluble in water, insoluble in oil.

Use

• For use in the food industry and in cosmetics
• Works well as a thickener, emulsion stabilizer, conditioner and humectant.
• It is used to increase the stability of emulsions, it slightly increases the viscosity.
• Allows you to create beautiful transparent gels.
• Dosage 0.5 - 2%

Cold gel preparation

Add the desired amount of xanthan gum to the water and mix with a hand mixer. Wait 5-10 minutes, mix occasionally and then use the mixer again.

Preparation of hot gel

Heat the water to 40-70°C, and add the xanthan gum and stir
