Fragrance oils are hydrophobic and do not dissolve in water. They must be combined with a carrier:

- Vegetable oils – perfect for massage oils and cosmetics.
- Polysorbate 80 – allows blending with water.
- Augeo – ideal for diffusers and room fragrances.
