Properties and uses
- Cosmetics: Vetiver enriches creams, body oils and soaps with a warm, woody fragrance with an exotic touch. It combines excellently with cedar, patchouli and lavender fragrances and gives cosmetic products elegant depth.
- Household: In home fragrances, diffusers or air fresheners, vetiver brings a subtle natural note that creates harmony and a touch of nature in every room.
- Perfumes: A traditional base note in perfumery that connects different fragrance layers into a balanced whole. Combined with citrus, flowers or spices, it creates noble, long-lasting compositions.
- Laundry: A few drops of vetiver oil mixed with detergent gel or added to a dryer leave laundry smelling fresh, clean and subtly woody. Also excellent for wardrobe or laundry-room fragrances.
- Candles: In natural candles, it creates a warm, earthy atmosphere with a hint of exotic wood. Ideal for moments of peace and comfort at home.
