Properties and uses

• Cosmetics: Excellent for soaps, creams, body lotions, lip balms and shampoos. It creates a soft, sweet fragrance that feels warm and luxurious.
• Candles: Gives candles a pleasant, sugary vanilla atmosphere. Ideal for winter and Christmas compositions, as well as relaxing evenings at home.

What do fragrance oils dissolve in?

Fragrance oils are hydrophobic and do not dissolve in water on their own. They must always be mixed into a carrier:

• Alcohol – ideal for perfumes, sprays and air fresheners.
• Vegetable oils – suitable for massage blends and cosmetics.
• Polysorbate 80 – allows mixing with water.
• Augeo – suitable for perfumes and diffusers.
