How to Work With Silk Powder
Solubility: soluble in water.

Addition: add to the water phase or into the cooling phase of the finished product. For quality retention, it’s best to add below 40°C.
pH: suitable for standard cosmetic formulas with slightly acidic to neutral pH.

Procedure
- Disinfect work surface, utensils, and container.
- Stir glycerin into water.

Procedure

- Check pH, ideal range is about 5–5.5.
Packing and Use
- Fill into a jar or airless dispenser.
- Use as a light facial cream.
- The emulsion contains water, so a preservative is necessary.
Silk Hair Tonic
A light water-based hair spray with silk powder and panthenol for smoother, more manageable hair.
