The raw material comes from a certified ORGANIC source.

Because we have ended our ORGANIC certification, we can only use the ORGANIC designation for the original unopened 25 kg package.

Smaller packages contain the identical raw material from the same production batch, but for legislative reasons they are no longer marked as organic.

The quality, source, or properties of the raw material do not change in any way. Only the possibility to use the ORGANIC designation on our repackaged packages changes.

Refined Shea Butter	White	Universal shea butter suitable for soaps, creams, and other cosmetics. Has a gentle white color and is without a strong scent.
Deodorized Shea Butter	White, slightly yellowish in places	This butter has had its natural scent gently removed by mechanical extraction, which might be distracting in some recipes.
Unrefined Natural Shea Butter	White to ivory	Here we move to another level. Both scent and color are a step above previous butters. The scent is nicely of shea butter, but it's not disturbing—instead it's very pleasant. The butter is smooth.
Ultra Unrefined Shea Butter	Yellow	This butter has a strong shea butter scent and is the most yellow among those we offer (except Nilotica). It is also the most “grainy.” The strong scent may be distracting for some.
Shea Butter Nilotica	Yellow	Nilotica cannot be compared to the others as it is a different kind of butter. But for completeness, we've included it here. It's creamy, has a lower melting point, and a specific aroma.
