Plant macerate in oil - Arnica (extract), 30 ml

Arnica macerate in sunflower oil is an ideal ingredient in cosmetic products intended for sensitive, irritated or stressed skin .

This macerate is created using a traditional extraction technique - arnica flowers (Arnica montana) are macerated for a long time in cold-pressed sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus).

Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, which support skin health and make the oil an ideal carrier for the active ingredients of arnica. The resulting macerate is of plant origin, suitable for natural and vegan cosmetics.

It is used in the oil phase, it is not soluble in water. Its main benefits lie in supporting regeneration, nourishment and soothing the skin.

Maceration of arnica flowers in nutritious sunflower oil creates an effective ingredient that supports skin regeneration and relieves muscle tension.

Used in massage blends, body balms, after-sun creams or sports cosmetics, this macerate nourishes and soothes the skin, helping to restore the skin barrier.

How to work with it

This macerate is an oil phase – it is soluble only in fats, not in water. It is suitable for combining with other vegetable oils or butters.

Processing temperature: It is recommended to process at temperatures up to 40 °C to avoid reducing the effectiveness of the extract.
Dosage: 1–10% depending on the type of product. Higher amounts can be used in massage oils and balms.

Regenerating massage oil after sports

Ingredients:

• Arnica macerate in sunflower oil – 40%

• Almond oil – 40%

• Peppermint essential oil – 1%

• Rosemary essential oil – 1%

• Tocopherol (vitamin E) – 0.5%

Procedure:
Mix all ingredients in a sterile bottle. Apply to tired muscles after sports.

Balm for stressed skin

Ingredients:

• Arnica macerate – 25%

• Shea butter – 25%

• Beeswax – 20%

• Calendula oil – 25%

• Lavender essential oil – 1%

• Tocopherol (vitamin E) – 0.5%

Procedure:
Heat the wax and butter in a water bath, add the oils, let cool slightly and add the essential oils. Pour into cups.

After-sun cream

Ingredients:

• Arnica macerate in sunflower oil – 15%

• Aloe vera gel – 60%

• Emulsifier Olivem 1000 – 5%

• Chamomile hydrolate – 15%

• Preservative Cosgard – 0.6%

• Tocopherol (vitamin E) – 0.4%

Procedure:
Heat the oil and water phases separately to approximately 65°C, mix and emulsify. Add the preservative and pour into the container.
