Phytokeratin is a plant protein complex intended for hair and skin cosmetics. It represents an alternative to classic animal keratin and is used mainly in hair care products.
In hair cosmetics, it helps improve the appearance of the hair fiber, supports its elasticity and smoothness. Hair looks more manageable, combs better and looks fuller. In skin cosmetics, it is used as a film-forming and conditioning ingredient.
It is suitable for dry, stressed, chemically treated or heat stressed hair.

Procedure
- Weigh out the shampoo base and water, mix gently without excessive foaming.
- At temperatures up to 40 °C, add phytokeratin and panthenol.
- Add preservative and mix.
- Check the pH (approx. 4.5–5.5) and adjust if necessary.
- Fill into a disinfected bottle.
Packaging and use
- Use as a regular shampoo.
- Aquatic product requires preservation.
- Store at room temperature.
Conditioner with phytokeratin (O/W emulsion)

Procedure
- Heat phase A to 70–75 °C.
- Heat Phase B separately to 70–75 °C until BTMS dissolves.
- Combine the phases and homogenize.
- Cool to 40 °C while stirring constantly.
- Add phytokeratin and preservative.
- Check the pH (approx. 4–5).
- Fill into the container.
Packaging and use
- Apply to washed hair, leave on for 2-3 minutes and rinse.
- Aquatic product requires preservation.
