Characteristics

• Olivem 900 is a natural-based emulsifier for the type of water-in-oil emulsion. It works well in the preparation of anhydrous creams and water-in-oil emulsions. It forms a gel when mixed with esters and oils. Olivem 900 provided stable, easily spreadable gels with 30-70% lipids.
• This emulsifier is derived from olive oil by esterification with sorbitol. It allows the production of "water in oil" emulsions, which are ideal as "cold creams", creams for babies.
• The resulting creams are very nourishing and have a very good affinity with the skin. The textures are rich and creamy, it contributes to the massage and does not leave a protective film on the skin.
• Leaves a protective film on the skin. Creams are very nutritious.

Use

• Formation of emulsions rich in oil (50-70% oil phase), skin cream
• Rich and creamy creams: 50 to 60% oil phase and 5-10% olive emulsifying wax (usual dose: 7.5%), dissolution in the oil phase
• Day and night creams, facial or body creams
• Sun protection
• Make-up: mascara, cream foundations and eye liners
• Make-up: lipstick, lip balm, lip gloss
• Products for children
