White clay (kaolin) is a fine mineral raw material widely used in cosmetics as an absorbent, softening and structural component. In home cosmetics production, it is mainly used in face masks, gentle cleansing pastes, powders, soaps and decorative cosmetics.
It is suitable for products intended for sensitive, dry and children's skin. It helps absorb impurities without significantly burdening the skin and improves the consistency of products.
How to work with it
White clay (kaolin) is insoluble in water, after mixing it creates a very fine paste or suspension.
It is used without heating, mixed with water, hydrolates or oils. Due to its fineness, it is also suitable for products where a smooth structure is required. It is recommended to work with non-metallic utensils.
