Red clay is a mineral raw material used in cosmetics as an absorbent, colorant and structural component. In home cosmetics, it is mainly used in face masks, body wraps, scrubs and soaps.
It is popular in products intended for dry, sensitive and mature skin, where it helps improve the appearance of the skin and give the products a subtle natural color.
Red clay is insoluble in water, forming a fine suspension or paste.
Used without heating, ideally mixed with water, hydrolates or oils. Working with non-metallic utensils is recommended.
