Naticide, 5 ml

Naticide® is a preservative based on aromatic substances of plant origin. It is used in cosmetic products to reduce microbial contamination during storage and normal use.
It is mainly used in natural cosmetic recipes and in water- or water-alcohol-based products. The preservative of natural origin effectively protects all emulsions (creams, milks).

• Its exquisite scent will give your preparations a subtle hint of vanilla-almond.
• Naticide is a fragrant ingredient of plant origin that has a broad spectrum of effectiveness against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
• Can be used alone or in combination with other preservatives.
• Since it is an aromatic ingredient, it is possible to declare the final product as "preservative-free" and to list Naticide as a perfume or fragrance.
• Solubility: in alcohol and in oil

Use

• Preservative, antibacterial and antifungal effects.
• If used in adequate doses, it is suitable for emulsions, gels, cleansers, shampoos, masks, etc.
• It is soluble in water up to 0.6%, and completely soluble in glycol and alcohol.
• In case of using a larger dose, add 0.6% to the aqueous phase and add the rest while stirring constantly to ensure dispersion.
• It is most effective in finished products in the pH range of 4 to 9.
• Dosage: 0.3 - 1% of the total weight of the preparation, usually 0.6%
• 1 ml = 35 drops

How to work with it

Naticide® is soluble in alcohol and oils, sparingly soluble in water.
It is most often added to the finished product or to a phase containing alcohol or solubilizer.

Method

1. Mix phase A.
2. Add Naticide below 40 °C.
3. Adjust pH to 5–5.5.
