Leucidal, 100 ml

Leucidal® is a preservative obtained by fermentation, used in cosmetic products to reduce microbial contamination. It is mainly used in preparations intended for natural and gentle cosmetics.
It is used in emulsions, gels, creams, lotions, shampoos and other products with a water phase.

How to work with it

Leucidal® is soluble in water and is added to the water phase or to the finished product.
It is recommended to apply at lower temperatures, ideally below 40 °C, to avoid a reduction in effectiveness.

• Leucidal is a 100% natural preservative and is very popular in organic cosmetics.
• It is produced by fermenting radishes with Leuconostoc Kimchii bacteria, it contains peptides with antibacterial properties, the effectiveness of which is very high.
• It is non-irritating and very well tolerated by the skin and is suitable for products intended for sensitive skin.
• Soluble in water, insoluble in oil

Use

• It is used advantageously in all types of products that contain an aqueous phase: creams, milks, gels, lotions.
• This is a broad-spectrum antibacterial and antifungal preservative, excellent for all products containing a water phase.
• Ensures the preservation of cosmetic formulations containing an aqueous phase (water, hydrosol).
• Dosage: 0.5 - 4%
