Lactic acid is one of the commonly used raw materials in cosmetic production. In home cosmetics, it is used mainly for adjusting the pH of creams, gels, shampoos and other preparations so that the resulting product meets the requirements of the skin or hair.

How to work with it:
Lactic acid is soluble in water. It is added to cosmetic products in small quantities, usually after the production is completed, when the resulting pH of the product is adjusted. The dosage is governed by the pH measurement and the type of formulation, and is usually in the order of tenths of a percent.
Added gradually drop by drop, stirring constantly, with continuous pH control using pH papers or a pH meter.
