What can you make with jojoba wax?
Jojoba wax can be used in lip balms, solid deodorants, body and face sticks, ointments, anhydrous balms, creams, emulsions and natural candles. It thickens mixtures of oils and butters, helps create a firm structure and supports pleasant application.
How to use jojoba wax?
Add jojoba wax to the oil phase together with vegetable oils, butters or other waxes. Heat the mixture in a water bath until all solid ingredients have completely melted. Then mix thoroughly, add any heat-sensitive ingredients and pour into prepared containers or moulds.
Adjust the amount of wax to the desired consistency. A higher proportion will create a harder product, while a lower proportion will provide a softer and more spreadable balm. Before preparing a larger quantity, we recommend making a small test sample and assessing the final hardness only after it has cooled completely.

When developing a balm, start with a small test batch. If the product is too soft, reheat it and add a small amount of jojoba wax. If it is too hard, adjust the consistency by adding vegetable oil.
