Hyaluronic acid is a highly valued active ingredient in cosmetics with an exceptional ability to bind water and hydrate the skin. It occurs naturally in human skin, but its amount decreases with age, which leads to a loss of elasticity and suppleness. It exists in multiple molecular weights, each of which penetrates a different layer of the skin and has a different effect – from deep hydration to creating a protective film on the surface. Thanks to this, individual types can be combined with each other and achieve a complex moisturizing effect.

Use

• A wonderful cosmetic ingredient, often used especially in the production of anti-aging creams.
• However, with age, the natural amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin decreases, so there is no choice but to replenish it.

Hyaluronic acid hydrates in water – ideally let it swell for several hours or overnight.

• First mix it with a small amount of water (distilled or flower water), then add the rest.

• By combining different types of hyaluronic acid (e.g. 0.3% low + 0.5% medium + 0.3% high) you create an effective moisturizing product.
