Making homemade tempeh is very simple, and above all, it tastes good! You will find out what you will need to make tempeh in the following recipe.

What will be needed?

recipe for 1 kg

- 600 g of soybeans
 
- 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar

- Tempeh starter

How to do it?

We soak the soybeans in water overnight, take them out in the morning and boil them for about an hour.

Now comes the important stage, which is to separate the skins from the beans. Take the beans in the palm of your hand and rub them thoroughly. We continuously wash and discard the skins.

Boil the peeled beans for about half an hour. Spread the beans on a baking sheet and let them dry for about 2 hours. Add tempeh starter and wine vinegar and mix everything well.

We will prepare new /sterile/ plastic bags by piercing them with a thick needle at a distance of approx. 2x2 cm and placing the beans in the bags.

We put the bags with tempeh in the heat, we need 26-34 degrees Celsius.

After 24 hours it's done!
