How do fragrance oils dissolve?

Fragrance oils are hydrophobic and will not dissolve in water. They must always be mixed into a carrier:

• Alcohol – ideal for perfumes, sprays and room scents.
• Vegetable oils – great for massage blends and cosmetics.
• Polysorbate 80 – enables mixing with water.
• Augeo – suitable for perfumes and diffusers.
