Description

The original idea was to create a concentrated hair conditioner that would facilitate detangling, leaving hair silky, fragrant and shiny. The product had to be convenient for traveling as well, so that it wouldn't spill anywhere and could be taken with you without problems even on board an airplane. Well, not only that! This wonderful product can do so much more than expected... we are seriously excited about it!

So how is it used?

The possibilities of using this wonderful conditioner/balm are truly endless!

- For hair

Use the balm as a soft buttery serum that makes detangling easier. Simply massage a small amount of conditioner into the ends of dry hair and then comb through. Hair will break much less and combing will not be painful!

The formulation contains an emulsifier, so you can definitely use the conditioner with water as well. Knead a little conditioner in your hands with a drop of warm water, create a soft, sliding emulsion, and then apply it to your hair like a classic leave-in conditioner.

In this way, the conditioner can be used on both wet and dry hair. Either way, the product will smooth the hair beautifully, give it flexibility and the necessary care. Just be careful not to get water in the product - then it could spoil quickly!

- On the body

The product can also be used as a classic body butter or milk. Use it as you would a classic body product. Just remember that this balm is very rich and concentrated - you'll need a lot less product than you're used to.

I personally like the balm as an ointment for dry hands!

- For the beard

The conditioner is also great for grooming and treating beards, it works as a great care and styling product for beards, beards and moustaches.

Smoothing, softening and suppleness

Smooth skin, silky hair without knots and the self-emulsifying effect in butter are literally conjured by the great BTMS emulsifier. We absolutely adore the BTMS emulsifier in our products – it turns ordinary oil into a luxurious thing after adding it. It softens the hair and makes it more manageable, making it a great base for any conditioner.

TIP: BTMS takes a little longer to dissolve. If you don't have enough time, simply grind the BTMS emulsifying wax beads in a coffee grinder (the one you use for production :)) into a powder.

Buttery consistency

Pearls of cetearyl alcohol ensure a creamy buttery consistency, a velvety feeling on the skin and hair, and a very pleasant richness of the entire product. Cetearyl alcohol thickens everything, binds it together and turns it into butter. If you don't have it yet, be sure to check it out, it fits a lot of products!

Lightness, flexibility and non-greasy

The basis of the cream product is created by three light liquid components - emollients, which perfectly complement each other and provide hair and skin with a lot of necessary nutrients. Macadamia oil hydrates, softens and contributes to rapid regeneration. It is absorbed into the hair and skin very quickly and does not leave a heavy feeling, on the contrary, it gently nourishes and literally caresses them.

Dry "neutral" Caprilis oil is a natural liquid ingredient that hydrates, softens, but at the same time absorbs ultra quickly and leaves the skin and hair "dry" to the touch - in the sense that it does not weigh down the hair and does not make the skin greasy. This is a very cheap miracle, which is also great for "lightening" other oils.

Olive squalane is another of the dry light oils, which is also an active ingredient – it is even called a natural facelift! It makes the skin and hair flexible, nourished and hydrated. In addition, it treats split ends, prevents frizz and generally smooths the hair.

Jasmine wax for color, fragrance and playfulness

A fun ingredient with a special texture and a divine scent will give our balm even more creaminess, a soft orange color and especially a beautiful floral perfume.

TIP: If you're not a fan of the jasmine scent, try another one of our flower waxes, like pink, violet or mimosa!

It smells of fruits and flowers

The jasmine wax gives the conditioner a subtle scent that is certainly sufficient for many. However, if, like us, you suffer from more intense scents that will be pleasant on your hair or skin for several hours after application, try our Freesia and Pear cosmetic scent. This is a fairly strong, but certainly not obnoxious or aggressive, fruity floral scent with notes of pear, freesia, rose, patchouli and amber. Perfect for hair products!

Vitamin E

Be sure to add vitamin E, i.e. tocopherol, to the conditioner. It increases the amount of antioxidants in the product and thus significantly extends its shelf life!

Hair conditioner & body balm in one with jasmine, freesia and pear

What does it take?

We are warming up

- 3 grams of emulsifying wax BTMS

- 4.5 grams of cetearyl alcohol

- 6 grams of squalane

- 6.66 grams of caprylis

After dissolving, mix

- 9 grams of macadamia oil

- 0.45 grams of jasmine wax

Add after cooling

- 0.25 grams of vitamin E

- 0.14 grams of Freesia and pear fragrance

How to do it?

Prepare a water bath - pour about 3cm of water into the saucepan and let it heat on medium.

Weigh the raw materials that we will heat (BTMS, cetearyl alcohol, squalane and caprylis) into a heat-resistant container. Place in a water bath and allow to heat slowly.

After about 20 minutes BTMS will be dissolved. This is the right time to add macadamia oil and jasmine wax. Heat the mixture for a moment and give the wax time to melt. Stir and remove from heat once dissolved.

Stir the mixture so that it slowly thickens and becomes viscous. After a few minutes, add vitamin E and fragrance. Mix and stir until the mixture thickens and begins to form a so-called trail (it will be slightly malleable, like a pudding). Once that happens, pour the mixture into the selected 30ml container - for example, this 30ml cream container is great!

Let the product set for a few more hours and then start enjoying it in endless ways. :)
