Although there are many silicone-free shampoos on the market, i.e. substances that smooth the hair but in the long term weaken and weigh it down, in addition, the hair tends to sag and lose volume after using silicone products. There are still many preparations in the composition of which we can find the words: CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, CYCLOMETICONE, DIMETHICONOL, DIMETHICONE, etc.
Today, no one will be surprised by the statement that hair is nourished internally, that is, the diet has a great influence. Frost, wind, sun, these are other factors that can negatively affect the condition of the hair.
When we have damaged hair, we look for the best way to help our hair. Many women often decide to dye their hair mainly because of its bad appearance and not gray hair. However, there is another help, namely natural hair dyes, which with regular use can add shine, add volume, strengthen and delay the onset of gray hair, thanks to the herbs contained in the dye.
Some may have already tried vegetable dye in the past, followed the preparation procedure and the duration of the dye's action, but hey, nothing happened, no change. The color did not stick and there was a feeling of disappointment.
Has this happened to you too? The main culprit may be the use of silicones in hair cosmetics. It does not allow anything to reach the hair, it covers the hair with its invisible film and as a result the natural color does not stick. Silicones are difficult to remove from the hair, so it may take longer to get rid of their deposits. It's not just about shampoos and conditioners, but also about blow-dry protection products that contain silicones.
But let's leave the topic of silicones and approach the actual dyeing of hair with natural color. In the composition of natural colors, we can meet the most famous Henna, but also indigo, Hibiscus, Mořená barvírská...
In addition to coloring plants, natural colors also contain plants that help nourish the hair, add shine and volume, for example Cassia obovata or Fenugreek.
The dyeing procedure itself is usually the same, mix the plant powder in warm water and immediately apply it to the hair. Cover with foil and leave for at least 1 hour. You can add an essential oil to the mixed plant color according to your personal taste and smell the resulting mixture. For these purposes, for example, rosemary essential oil, which promotes hair growth, can be used.
After the time of application of the color has expired, we wash it off until the water is clean and the hair is no longer washed with shampoo.
