Characteristics

Fig and Vanilla is an elegant fragrance combining the fresh fruitiness of ripe figs with the creamy sweetness of a vanilla pod. Delicate undertones of pomegranate add depth and a subtle juicy accent. The fragrance is rich, balanced and feels both natural and luxurious – like the touch of a warm summer evening.

Properties and uses

• Cosmetics: Ideal for soaps, creams, shampoos, body lotions and balms. Creates a delicate, elegant and warmly sweet fragrance suitable for everyday use.
• Candles: Excellent for romantic and relaxing candles – it combines the warmth of vanilla with the fruity freshness of fig.
• Home use: Use in diffusers or aroma lamps to fill the home with a delicate, soothing fragrance.
• Perfumes: An excellent base for sensual, creamy-fruity compositions with a warm undertone.
• Laundry: A few drops in fabric softener will give laundry the delicate scent of sweet fig and clean vanilla.

What do fragrance oils dissolve in?

Fragrance oils are hydrophobic and do not dissolve in water on their own. They must always be mixed into a carrier:

• Alcohol – ideal for perfumes, sprays and air fresheners.
• Vegetable oils – suitable for massage blends and cosmetics.
• Polysorbate 80 – allows mixing with water.
• Augeo – suitable for perfumes and diffusers.
