Characteristics

• Slightly tightens pores and has antibacterial effects.
• Witch hazel floral water is particularly suitable for oily and problematic skin that tends to have clogged pores.

Usage

• Floral water is recommended in products for sensitive skin prone to redness.
• Astringent, toning, and cleansing agent is ideal for combination and oily skin care or for deodorant production.
• Primarily used as a part of the preservation system (also in food), allowed even in natural cosmetics. It is one of the cheapest preservation ingredients.
• It has antimicrobial effects, prevents the multiplication of bacteria but does not kill them. It is also slightly antifungal, protecting against fungi, mold, and yeast (in acidic environments, i.e., pH 4.5 or lower). Therefore, it is sensitive to the pH of its environment.
• Depending on pH, one or another property is preferred; it can be considered unstable but still functional. Not an allergen, though in very sensitive individuals it may cause contact dermatitis.

Instructions for use

• Apply a few drops of the floral water to a cotton pad and cleanse the skin in circular motions.
• Can be used in a spray as a facial refresher.
• Avoid direct contact with eyes.
