Hair shine ester is a modern cosmetic ingredient used primarily in hair cosmetics. It serves as a light oil component that improves the appearance of the hair fiber, promotes its smoothness and gives the hair a well-groomed, shiny appearance. In cosmetic formulations, it helps reduce the feeling of dryness in the hair and improves its combability.
It is popular in home cosmetics production mainly due to its very good sensory properties - it does not weigh down the hair, does not leave a greasy film and is also suitable for fine or quickly greasy hair.
How to work with it:
This raw material is soluble in oils and belongs to the oil phase formula. It can be used in both emulsions and anhydrous products. The recommended dosage is usually in the range 1–10%, depending on the type of product and the desired effect.
It is also suitable for addition to finished products, such as hair serums or oil blends, and is stable at normal manufacturing temperatures.

- This ester is an effective and natural alternative to silicones and other synthetic compounds. While natural oils often make hair sticky and lead to a greasy shine, esters are easily absorbed into the hair and shine without weighing it down.
- It is suitable for all hair types. Especially for hair stressed by irons, blow dryers, UV radiation, bleaching, dyeing, combing and brushing.
