The base for solid shampoo is an innovative syndet base designed for easy home production of solid shampoos.
It does not contain soap, which makes it different from traditional soap bases, and it is gentle on both the scalp and hair.
Thanks to its pH, which is similar to the natural pH of the skin, it does not disrupt the protective skin film and does not dry out the hair.
It is ideal for sensitive, dry and irritated skin. It creates a rich, creamy lather, rinses easily and leaves hair soft and clean.
The base is processed using the “melt & pour” method, i.e. by heating it and then pouring it into a mold. The recommended melting temperature is around 65–75 °C – the base must be dissolved slowly, ideally in a water bath, to avoid overheating and foaming.
After dissolving, you can add active ingredients, oils, extracts or fragrances that are suitable for use in hair cosmetics. Then, simply pour the mixture into a mold and let it harden. For ease of use, it is recommended not to exceed the amount of added ingredients above 5% of the total weight.
What can I make from it:
Solid hair shampoo (also for sensitive skin)
Gentle shampoo for children
Travel Shampoo in Solid Form
Shampoo for oily or dry hair according to added active ingredients
A solid cleansing product for beard or body

What is Syndet?
Syndet is an abbreviation for "synthetic detergent" – it was created by combining the words "synthetic" and "detergent". Unlike classic soap, which is created by saponifying fats with an alkali (e.g. sodium hydroxide), syndet is made of synthetic surfactants (surfactants), which can be partially or completely based on natural raw materials (e.g. coconut oil), but undergo more complex technological processing.
Lower pH than soap – regular soap has a pH of around 9–10, while syndet tends to have a pH closer to the skin’s natural pH (5–6), which is gentler on the skin.
They do not dry out the skin – they do not disrupt its protective hydrolipidic film.
Suitable for sensitive, dry or children's skin.
Rich foam and easy rinsing – without soap ingredients.
for solid shampoos
in cleansing cubes for face and body,
in intimate hygiene,
in hair and children's cosmetics, where extra gentleness is required.
These properties have made syndet products a popular alternative to traditional soaps, especially where there is a need to maintain the skin's natural pH and minimize irritation.
