Coconut charcoal, 30 g

Coconut black charcoal (activated charcoal) is a strongly adsorbing ingredient that functions in cosmetics as a cleansing and detoxifying ingredient. Thanks to its structure, it binds impurities, excess sebum and toxins and is suitable for formulations where we want effective cleansing of the skin or scalp.

• Coconut black carbon is rich in active anion.
• Coconut shell activated carbon is a porous, soft, black substance made by heating carbon-containing substances, such as coconut shells, in a limited amount of air.
• Activated coconut charcoal can absorb 100 to 200 times its own weight.
• Our coconut charcoal is ultra fine (3000 mesh). It is excellent for example in toothpastes.

Black mask with activated charcoal (100 g)

Type: dry mix – mix only before use.

Raw materials

• White clay (kaolin): 70 g
• Bentonite (Aztec clay): 28 g
• Coconut charcoal: 2 g (2%)

Procedure

1. Sieve all powders and mix until smooth.
2. Store in a dry place in a sealable container.

Use

Mix 1-2 teaspoons with water to make a paste, apply to skin for 5-10 minutes and rinse. Do not leave on completely.

Cleansing paste with charcoal (100 g)

Type: thick paste, suitable for occasional use. No water = usually no need for preservation, but make in smaller batches and keep the packaging clean.

Ingredients

• Glycerin (palm-free): 70 g
• Baking soda (baking soda): 28.5 g
• Coconut charcoal: 1.5 g (1.5%)

Procedure

1. First mix the charcoal in some glycerin until it becomes a smooth paste.
2. Add baking soda and mix until a homogeneous paste.
3. Transfer to a clean jar.

Note: contains abrasive ingredients – use sparingly and as needed, not “forcibly”.

Washing gel with coconut black charcoal (100 g)

Type: simple coloring and "absorbent" character in the finished washing base.

Ingredients

• Gentle Wash Gel/Shower Base (your finished base): 98.7 g
• Coconut charcoal: 0.7 g (0.7%)
• Cosgard: 0.6 g (0.6%; only if the base is not preserved)

Procedure

1. Mix the charcoal in a small portion of the gel until smooth.
2. Pour back into the rest of the gel and mix well (slowly so as not to foam).
3. If necessary, add preservative according to the type of base.

Usage: normally as a shower gel. Be careful not to discolor light-colored fabrics.
