Characteristics

Use

• It has excellent thickening and foaming properties that help moisturize the skin. It is also used to increase the foaming power of other surfactants. Cocamidopropyl is compatible with other surfactants. Commonly used in shampoos, bubble baths, body soaps and shower gels.

• Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a clear to slightly yellowish viscous liquid soluble in water . It is used in concentrations:

  • 3–10% in facial and intimate hygiene cleansing products

  • 10–30% in shampoos, shower gels, bath foams

  Temperature stability : It is recommended to add at a temperature below 40 °C to avoid changing the structure or reducing foaming.
