Characteristics

Clove essential oil has a spicy, bitter and woody aroma. It is one of the most beautiful aromatic ingredients for soap making. It is invigorating and refreshing, and is especially recommended for fatigue.

Use

Cloves have traditionally been used to relieve toothaches, although they do not cure tooth decay. Clove oil has natural anti-inflammatory properties and can temporarily relieve pain, which is why it is often added to some toothpastes and mouthwashes.

It is also used in cosmetic products, such as creams designed to relieve muscle and joint pain.
