Oil Face Serum with Bakuchiol (30 g)

Product type: Anhydrous oil serum (preservative-free)

Procedure

1. Weigh the oils (squalane + jojoba) into a beaker and mix.
2. Add vitamin E, mix.
3. Add bakuchiol and stir until the mixture is homogeneous.
4. Pour into a bottle.

Packaging and use

• Recommended packaging: Glass bottle with pipette, square brown, 30 ml
• Apply 2-4 drops to clean skin (alone or under cream). Avoid contact with eyes.
• Storage: in a cool and dark place.

Note: Anhydrous products do not normally require a preservative, but ensure clean handling (do not use wet hands/pipette).

Light skin cream with Bakuchiol (50 g)

Product type: O/W emulsion (contains water phase – preservative required)

Raw ingredients (in % and grams)

Procedure

1. Phase A: Mix the flower water with glycerin. Stir in the xanthan gum while stirring vigorously (let it hydrate for 10–15 min).
2. Phase B: In another beaker, combine the oils and Olivem 1000.
3. Heat both phases to approximately the same temperature (approx. 70 °C) to dissolve Olivem 1000.
4. While stirring, pour phase B into phase A and emulsify (hand mixer/stick blender) for 1–2 min, then stir until cool.
5. At a temperature below 40–45 °C stir in phase C (bakuchiol + preservative).
6. Fill the container and allow 24 hours for the consistency to stabilize.

Packaging and use

• Recommended packaging: Plastic cream container with lid, 50 ml or Tall white plastic airless bottle, 50 ml
• Apply a small amount to clean skin 1–2 times daily as needed. Avoid contact with eyes.
• Note on pH: Keep the pH of the finished emulsion in a slightly acidic range (bakuchiol is commonly recommended to be used at a lower pH; for this recipe, a pH < 6 is usually the goal).

After-sun body lotion with Bakuchiol (100 g)

Product type: O/W emulsion (light milk, suitable for airless)

Raw ingredients (in % and grams)

Procedure

1. Phase A: Mix the flower water with the glycerin. Stir in the xanthan gum while stirring on high and let it hydrate.
2. Phase B: Weigh the oils, add Olivem 1000 and heat until dissolved.
3. Heat phases A and B to a similar temperature (approx. 70 °C). Emulsify (B into A) while stirring.
4. Stir until cool. At 40–45 °C stir in bakuchiol and preservative.
5. Fill the containers and let them settle until the next day.

Packaging and use

• Recommended packaging: Plastic airless bottle tall white, 50 ml (usually 2 pcs per 100 g)
• Apply to clean skin as needed (e.g. after shower). Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Note: If you want an even lighter "milky" texture, reduce Olivem 1000 to 3% and increase the flower water by 1% (adjust the consistency with xanthan gum if necessary).
