Characteristics

• Ashwagandha is one of the most important herbs in the Indian Ayurvedic tradition and has been used for over 3,000 years.
• Also called Indian ginseng, Ashwagandha means "horse power".
• Ashwagandha is water soluble.

• It is used in shampoos, conditioners and skin care.

How to make macerate

For 1 liter of macerate - 900 ml of water and 100 g of Ashwagandha powder

1. Weigh out the required amount of powder
2. Pour into a suitable container
3. Cover with water and shake thoroughly
4. Macerate for 24 hours protected from air and light with occasional shaking
5. After maceration, filter through a coffee filter or cloth and transfer the macerate to an airtight container
   bottles.
