This airless dispenser comes in two parts. The container with an integrated piston and the valve head with a pre-mounted cap. This airless dispensing system is a top-fill system. This means the piston is already inside the bottle and will be filled from above. After filling, the valve head with cap is pressed onto the container.
Airless dispensers should be filled more than the nominal volume. You should aim close to the maximum fill volume. If the dispenser is filled with the nominal volume, a small air gap is created between the filling material and the bottom of the dispenser head, and additional pump strokes would be required to put the airless dispensing system into operation.
Please note that airless dispensers are intended only for products with a viscosity of approximately 1,000 to 70,000 mPas. It is therefore advisable to check the correct viscosity before filling into bottles!
In airless systems, the product is isolated from the air. That's why airless dispensing systems allow manufacturers to stop using preservatives. Therefore, airless dispensers are the right packaging system for organic cosmetics.
